Protest Campaign at the Dáil

The group is organising a protest campaign outside the Dáil on the day of the meeting to raise awareness of the Herbert Road closure issue. This is a critical opportunity to make our voices heard at the highest level of government.

All are welcome to join - it is vital we get as large an attendance as possible. This represents Phase 3 of our campaign and is our last opportunity to plead our case directly to decision-makers.

Transport Details

The Finnegan Bray Bus will provide transport to Dublin with pickup at The Green Tree on Herbert Road at 11:00 am. Please arrive by 10:45 am to ensure you secure a seat. The trip is free one-way into town and €3 each for the return journey.

Important: Seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so early arrival is essential.

What This Means

This is a very important meeting where our four Wicklow TDs will meet the Minister for Transport. With the Tánaiste's public support for our campaign, this represents our best opportunity to influence the final decision on Herbert Road.

Your presence at the Dáil protest will send a powerful message that the Herbert Road community stands united against this closure.

Get Involved

As always, please spread the word and try to get more people involved in the campaign. More details can be found in the community group page.

Save the date: Wednesday, 9th July!

We need you, we are going to the Dáil!
